What
size to choose
If
you want to use a ready made frame, tell us the inside measurements
of the frame. We will recommend a painting size, leaving room
for the card surround. Otherwise just nominate the size of
the painting itself and and we will suggest an appropriate
sized mount.
You
can choose to have a double mount prepared to surround the
artwork.
We do not normally send frames through the mail. Special arrangements
can be made if a framer is not available in your locality.
Want
to order a painting?
Once
you have the quote, please fill out the
Purchase Form (printed version) and send with COPIES of
your photographs (NOT ORIGINALS) to the address on the form.
Please note that photos will not be returned. Enclose a cheque
or money order with your photos or transfer the amount owing
for the painting including freight to an account shown on
the form.
What
we will do
We
will paint a picture using the photographs. We reserve the
right to take artistic liberty to create the painting. We
will mount it on archive quality backing with a card surround
(acid free) of the appropriate size.
What
you will receive
You
will receive the painting, archive backing and card surround
as a complete package. All you need to do is slip it into
a frame.
How
to pay
Three
methods of payment are available : please see the Buy
/ Reserve page. We accept money orders and cheques or
you can transfer payment for the picture directly to the account
shown on the Purchase Form.
How
long does it take
The
time taken to create your picture depends on the size of the
artwork and whether the picture is a composite from several
photos or from one photo only. We generally have a turnaround
time of about a fortnight for small pictures. Larger pictures
may take longer. Let us know if you have a particular birthday
or special occassion. We can gift wrap the picture for you
and add a card with your message.
